Description
The German Adaptation Strategy includes dialogue processes with relevant stakeholders. Moreover, it aims at informing different target groups about climate impacts and possible adaptation measures. In this project the IÖW and its partners support the German Adaptation Strategy through different communication activities: they organise four stakeholder dialogues on climate-related opportunities and threats, plan regional cooperation fora, hold a research conference and develop an internet-based knowledge platform. Moreover, the researchers analyse how adaptation goals are developed in different European countries and devise a method for the development of adaptation targets. The method’s first steps will be tested within the project.
