This project is intended to support the discussion about the benefits of and the necessity for the certification of environment and sustainability reports using objective arguments. In this context, the strategies related to audit certificates, their effects, benefits for companies and certifiers, as well as the related general conditions were analysed. For this purpose, interviews were conducted with auditors, companies, NGOs and sustainability analyses were performed in EU member states.
