Projektbeschreibung

In recent years the EU has taken into consideration the municipal waste management issue. The general aim of this research program was to define a rational and sustainable management of municipal waste in the EU.
The central question of the research programme lied in the analysis of the building and evolution of institutional regimes and the evaluation of the needs for and obstacles to European harmonisation of regimes to implement a sustainable waste management policy in Europe. Project results were published in the institution series of the IOeW.
