Poster Session
The ASCEE project is a Commission funded research initiative that deals with innovative policy instruments and approaches for the promotion of sustainable consumption. A European wide inquiry into the latest developments in national policies has been conducted and in-depth case studies in selected instrumental areas have been elaborated. The main results, as well as strategies to transfer the findings into practical policy measures, will be presented and discussed during this one-day Workshop in Brussels. Some external commentators will comment on our proposals. In addition, DG Environment will present their ideas on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP).
Topics
The Workshop will therefore offer an important platform to exchange and collect further insights, opinions and experiences from a targeted audience of 40 international experts (from public administrations, academia, NGOs, business). The Workshop will contribute to the development of a “policy toolbox” for policy makers supporting the international SCP-process.
