Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW)

Eva Wiesemann has been a researcher at the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW) since March 2020. Before that, she spent several years working in different projects on citizen participation and sustainable urban development in Berlin. She also studied user-centered innovation and design at the Hasso-Plattner-Institut in Potsdam and was actively involved in the Berlin chapter of the Cradle to Cradle association. Eva Wiesemann studied Political and Administrative Science at the University of Konstanz as well as Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science at the University of Lund, Sweden. Her research at IÖW focuses on packaging, plastics recycling, circular economy and innovative business models.
