Bernd Hirschl moderated the workshop „Beyond Profitability – New Arguments for Energy-Saving Measures in Buildings“, which discussed the question of how to gain the support of buildings' owners. Maike Gossen from the Institute for Ecological Economy Research and Doreen Großmann from Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg discussed factors which influence approval of energy-saving measures by buildings' owners. Tobias Timm from Climate Protection Ageny Weserbergland presented findings from the practical experience conducting advisory campaigns for energy-saving measures and Dora Griechisch from Deutsche Umwelthilfe discussed opportunities and constraints for insulations made from natural materials.
