Multi-use of Community Energy Storage
Electricity storages play an important role in energy transition. However, batteries used solely for increasing self-consumption are neither profitable nor used efficiently. Hence, batteries should be used for multiple purposes. Especially community energy storages are suitable for multi-use. This poster, presented at the conference, visualizes results of a study on possible energy services besides increasing self-consumption of community energy storage:
- A Summary of most promising services for multi-use
- Available capacity for supplementary services with flexible allocation of capacity
- Conclusions on most promising business models
