The project “Efficiency and cycle potentials of battery systems in e-mobility” has conducted the first in-depth comparative analysis of conventional batteries, which are fully integrated in the vehicle design of electric vehicles, with an exchangeable battery system. During the webinar, the researchers presented the effects of exchangeable batteries on vehicle construction, battery life and the charging infrastructure, as well as the resulting economic and ecological effects of both battery systems. In addition, the most important results of the specially conducted user survey “Acceptance of swappable battery systems in Germany” (with over 2,000 participants) were presented.
