Learnings for the energy transition from social research
In the SINTEG showcase projects Designetz and NEW 4.0, various aspects of the participation and acceptance of the population in the energy transition and innovative digital solutions were considered. At the SINTEG closing event, a dialogue was held to draw conclusions about what successful participation can look like and what role households or companies want and should play in this. The results show that information has a fundamentally positive effect, but that in the increasingly complex energy system there must be simple access points for the actors.
