Making It Work
The Proseu project showed that the technical potential of prosumers in Europe is very high. In the residential sector, prosumer technologies for both heat and electricity can supply a large part of the energy by 2030. The question is therefore, how can this potential also be raised and a mainstreaming of prosumer technologies be supported? The presentation shows that self-consumption, energy communities and the local use of energy through sharing offer good arguments and lines of action for the selection of technologies for prosumers.
