Presentation Renewable energies‘ impact on value added and employment in Germany

At the Community Power Conference 2014, many pioneers and practitioners of community power from Japan and the world gather in Fukushima. They presented and discussed the target of 100% renewable energies Fukushima Prefecture set after the nuclear disaster and dozens of community power initiatives around the country. International experts presented their experiences and gave helpful advice. IÖW-expert Andreas Prahl presented an modeling approach developed at the IÖW to detemine regional economic effects for the expansion and operation of renewable energies. He also gave an insight to the model results for Germany and revealed the economic potentials of renewable energies.
