Orientation report for product-related challlenges of a sustainable economy

Purpose of this report is the preparation of a BMBF-programme focussing towards procut-related challenges of sustainable economy in the framework of the German research programme sustainability (FONA): Which chances and problems posseses a procut related sustaible economy in business considering the whole life cycle of products. Which research is necessary? The report is focussed towards products and services as an anchor for sustainability; process-related environmental protections is less considered.

Within the report experts from business, research, academia and NGOs will be interviewed. Besides that the relevant literature will be analysed.
