Photovoltaics on municipal roofs – leasing the areas to third parties

The information sheet is aimed at financially weak municipalities that want to promote the expansion of renewable energies despite tight budgets. The aim is to draw attention in compact form to the potential of leasing municipal roof areas for photovoltaic systems and to provide practical tips for implementation. It will be shown that this model benefits the climate and the community at the same time. Due to the cooperation with third parties, the costs for the municipality are low.
