1st state examination for electrical engineering and mathematics

Astrid Aretz is committed to an energy transition that involves citizens in many different ways. In projects on prosumers, tenant electricity and energy sharing, she investigates the framework conditions required for greater participation in renewable energies. As topic coordinator for “Digital Transformation” at the IÖW, she is also examining which digital applications can support such citizen participation. The energy transition researcher combines economic, technical and social science methods.
