Diploma in Economic Studies

Companies have a key role to play in the socio-ecological transformation: With this basic conviction, Christian Lautermann has been working scientifically on sustainable business for over 25 years. As head of the research field "Business, Value Chains and Consumption", the doctor of economics sets the tone for new research on corporate sustainability strategies.

The corporate researcher coordinates the topics of "Sustainable Corporate Management" and "Products and Consumption" at the IÖW. He is just as interested in the social responsibility of larger companies as he is in the transformative potential of alternative forms of business - from citizens' cooperatives to social enterprises.
