M. Sc. Sustainability Management and Economics

With his research, Patrick Schöpflin wants to show how companies can become (more) sustainable. In dialog with practitioners, he develops recommendations for effective corporate sustainability management – for example in the areas of biodiversity or climate adaptation. In the field of circular economy, he also researches the networking of various actors in the value chain.

Patrick Schöpflin leads various projects at the IÖW, including one on better European standards in sustainability reporting. He works primarily with qualitative research methods such as interviews and workshops.
