In our globalized economy, multinational enterprises are increasingly required to enforce sustainability principles not only in their own organizational context, but also their legally independent business partners along geographically spread supply chains. Against this background, the paper determines the role of sustainable Human Resource Management in international supply chains, and provides implications for practice and future research in this field.
