Acceptance, Demand and Participation - Factors for Success of Renewable Energy Self-Sufficiency from a Social Perspective
Based on a review of theoretical literature, findings of further empirical studies and first own exploratory research in four German counties, an explanatory model of Renewable Energy Self-Sufficiency (RESS)–acceptance is shown. Furthermore, first results of a representative telephone survey among the citizens of one RESS-municipality on their attitudes and demands concerning RESS are presented and linked with the explanatory modell.
