Citizen-Oriented Energiewende at the Crossroads
Energy prosumers are key actors for the approval of the Energiewende, for the stability of the energy system and for the needed private investment. The federal government emphasizes the importance to retain this so called plurality of actors but it does not even come close to exhausting ist potential. In order to make use of the potential for expansion of renewables and the willingness to invest of private investors, stable framework conditions should be created. Furthermore, the base for the reallocation charge should be broadened.
