Statement on the topic Financing and Realignment Municipal Utility
On February 13th 2017, the 2. Committee for Economy, Energy, Public Enterprises of the Berlin House of Representatives took place, dealing with the extension of the tasks and the financing of municipal utilities that is aspired by the governing coalition. As an expert for energy and climate protection policy in Berlin, Prof. Hirschl (IÖW) presented a statement on the financing and realignment of Berlin’s municipal utility, in which he addresses capital equipment and financing mechanisms as well as tasks and measure to be implemented.
