Solar energy and tenant electricity are focal points of the Berlin Energy and Climate Protection Programme (BEK), because photovoltaics is central to climate protection and to social participation in the transformation process of the energy transition, especially for tenants. The further development of the technology and new concepts in the area of sector coupling and neighbourhood solutions will result in further potentials for the local power supply in the future. At the same time, there are still many administrative and economic hurdles for the realisation of tenant electricity projects. The presentation introduces future technology options for tenant electricity and the procedure for simulating tenant electricity models.
