Keynote Transformative innovation and socio-technical transitions of agriculture & food systems

Conference: Food 2030 Networks Conference
Event by: FOOD 2030 online platform as a part of the CLEVERFOOD project funded by Horizon Europe
05.03.24 - 07.03.24, Brussels

Our current agriculture and food system is not sustainable – it threatens our health, destroys our ecosystems and contributes to climate breakdown. Setting the scene for more collaborative approaches towards innovating the future agriculture and food system, the FOOD 2030 Networks Conference invited all farmers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, researchers, living lab representatives and other food system innovators.

The keynote “Transformative innovation and socio-technical transitions of agricultural and food systems” is based on the publication “Transforming Europe's food system - Assessing the EU policy mix”. It highlights the weaknesses of the current agricultural and food system and also identifies the barriers and potentials for transformative change and the requirements for a successful policy mix.
