Consumer Conference on the Perception of Nanotechnology in the Areas of Food, Cosmetics, and Textiles, Germany

The German Consumer Conference on the perception of nanotechnology in the areas of foodstuffs, cosmetics and textiles was initiated by the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment and constituted a social experiment aiming to explore the opportunities of public deliberations. It provided a consumer vote containing recommendations on how to deal with nanotechnologies in the respective consumption domains.
