In light of the global plastic waste problem, many companies must and want to rethink their approach to packaging. However, because "the" most sustainable packaging often does not exist, finding suitable packaging is difficult. To support companies in this task, the IÖW has created a course that companies can use free of charge and conduct in their own organisation. Both a presentation and workshop instructions are provided. The course is designed to encourage and help companies to actively engage with sustainable packaging and to initiate and implement change.

The workshop goals are...

• to show in which ways companies can take action and exert influence,
• to enable environmentally friendly decision making
• to illustrate how to systematically apply an integrated packaging strategy in the value chain.
