Issues related to the Green Economy have so far been largely considered separately from digitalization. In the research report, the transformation potentials of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and digital platforms on the path to a Green Economy are examined. Both private sector and governmental applications are considered. Based on the insights gained, recommendations for legal and regulatory framework changes related to environmental, climate, and sustainability issues are developed.
