Dr. Gerrit von Jorck is a senior researcher at the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR Berlin), where he works within the Professorship for Economics, focusing on environmental, energy, and resource economics. His research explores the intersection of ecological sustainability, labor, and social transformation, with a particular interest in how sustainable forms of work can be designed and supported through education and institutional change. Alongside his research, Gerrit von Jorck teaches in the fields of economics and sociology, emphasizing the societal dimensions of engineering, labor, and sustainability.
