From A-levels to sustainability communication: Helena Schellig is combining her interest in sustainability with her first insights into public relations work during her voluntary ecological year. She assists the team at the IÖW in various projects and enriches it with fresh perspectives.

Helena Schellig takes on research tasks and photo shoots, assists with website maintenance, editing texts, the monthly newsletter and helps with events such as workshops and specialist conferences.

• Since 09/2023: Voluntary year in the Public Relations and Communications Department at the IÖW
• 09/2020 – 10/2020: two-week orientation internship at the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund in the foreign department
