M. Sc. Sustainability Management and Economics
Josephin Wagner investigates the framework conditions under which the value of nature can be better taken into account in decisions – for example, when cities adapt to climate change. She is also researching the sustainable potential of socio-technical systems such as machine learning.
In projects such as Sponge City, the economist with a background in communication science focuses on institutions in socio-ecological and socio-technical systems. She uses qualitative and transdisciplinary methods such as interviews, workshops and real-world laboratories in her day-to-day research.
