Health Risks in Everyday's Working Life due to Climate Change

On the 11th of July 2016, 22 participants from trade unions, trade union-linked organizations as well as from administration and applied science discussed in a one-day stakeholder dialogue the effects of expected climate impacts in Germany on health risks in everyday’s working life. The dialogue is part of the participation process for the further development of the German Climate Adaptation Strategy (DAS). It has been conceptualized and realized by the IÖW on behalf of "KomPass - Climate Impacts and Adaptation in Germany" at the Federal Environmental Agency (UBA). The working paper presents expected climate changes, relevant political adaptation activities, existing strategies and interventions as well as questions and overall objectives addressed in the dialogue. The documentation contains main contents of the keynote speeches and discussion results of the dialogue.
