Inge Røpke is Professor of Ecological Economics at Aalborg University, Copenhagen. She has published widely on ecological economics, consumption and environment, energy use and information technology in everyday life. Her recent research has been focused on ecological macroeconomics and issues of finance and sustainability. She was the 2014 recipient of the Nicholas Georgescu-Roegen Award for Unconventional Thinking and the 2018 recipient of the Kenneth E. Boulding Memorial Award.
